  1. The round body is one soft lattice of about 1,000 jelly cells, firm around the face and wobbly at the back; each cell springs back towards its moulded shape while the blob keeps its volume, so squashing makes it bulge.
  2. Each chubby leg is bent by inverse kinematics: two bones solved exactly from the hip on the dome to the ankle, with a soft knee bending outward and only a little up.
  3. A planted foot is pinned to the table. It only lifts when the body has moved too far from it, then arcs forward and lands a little ahead.
  4. Legs move in two teams of four (L1 R2 L3 R4, then R1 L2 R3 L4), so four feet always hold it up.
  5. Colour lives in the jelly itself: light is absorbed the deeper it travels, so thin tips glow pale and the thick abdomen glows deep.
  6. Every sound is synthesised live from oscillators and filtered noise. No recordings.
🕷️Thirteen flies. You're a parent now.

No 3D here, sorry.

The jelly spider is drawn live on your graphics card with WebGPU or WebGL2, and this browser offers neither (or has them switched off).
